These were taken prior to my firmware reload so I felt that AF was really struggling. Still got a few keepers I think but I'll let you all decide.

Loving 5 and 6. What are you doing to lift the shadows on the eyes? Whatever the treatment is, it looks good. Nice work bud.

Thanks John. This is one of the best tricks I have ever learned and is even better for portraits than sports. Simply duplicate the layer and blend as screen. Duplicate that layer as much as you need to get the eyes popping then merge the duplicates together. Add a mask then paint the eyes back in and adjust opacity to suit, flatten and you're money. It can really add some impact.

These are very lucky players to be getting such great shots, and i mean great, from a jV game. Well done.

Wow, awesome...you did everything right. I love the expressions. That's the hardest thing for me to achieve. Congrats!

LOL! I'll bet you do! I still haven't gotten over feeling like it's milliseconds before being run over during a sweep to my side of the field!

And those shots are just fabulous. My 11th grader is still coming off a serious high ankle sprain. He's playing LT on his JV team and I've been able to shoot one game. Last saturday was too rainy to take out the gear. He'll be playing again this Saturday and I'll get some snaps there.

Here's one of my better from his JV game two weeks ago. Nothing like YOUR stuff though. Man, we have to get together at a game before things get too ugly. Send me an email at david dot snyder at fedex dot com and let's try to get our schedules together for a saturday afternoon 'learning session' for me!

Here's a good one for me:

Wow what a great set... I can see why you have that SS member stamp under you name. Great job and thanks for the eye tip, #6 is just awesome.
