However, it sounds like a good price for an extry level tripod setup.

That was a DOTD site (I'm a huge Woot fan). I thought about jumping on this, but thought about it too long and missed out.

Tough to get any good reviews on tripods. Everyone says they are all **** unless you plan on spending $500+ for a top of the line.

This would have worked well for the once-a-year I pulled it out of the closet.
