Not sure where to put this topic so Mod feel free to move to the appropriate one.

I have a strange problem that I've been troubleshooting for a while now.

I'm running Vista 64-bit and my older USB reader works fine in it, but it's slow.

I bought another one and it worked for a while, then suddently it start to give I/O error when accessing the card, either CF or SDHC.

Most of the time, it doesn't even see the card and I have to reboot the computer to see it. Even when it saw that card, I was only able to copy a few files before it hung up. Once in awhile, it works fine. Weird!

The same reader and card work flawlessly on 2 XP laptops.

Anyone know if Vista is picky about card reader? I just bought 2 more and hopefully they run better.
