I have been hearing some info about noise banding similar to what some users were experiencing with the 5DMKII. This isn't a deal breaker for me but right now I have more time than money. So this is the logic I can use on myself while I save the dollar$ and spend my time waiting. My first response was mostly tongue in cheek... although not having any real work for the last 12 months does create a bit of cloud, good thing I already have what I need and the Colorado mountains close by.

I think the firmware is supposed to activate manual controls with the video capabilities..

Looks like the AF is working out for him.
Note he used the center 9 AF points cluster for those shots.
Looks pretty good IMO!:D

I see some really nice 3200+ shots. Not sure what people are talking about when they say the camera isn't good at high ISO. It's not D700 or 5D2 good, but unless you're a pixel peeper, I doubt too many people would complain.
