I did this engagement session yesterday and I wanted to do a little different style than I usually do. Does this work?

It's warmer... that's usually good for these types of shots. I wonder if that means that if we were reptilian, we'd prefer ourselves in bluer light?

Haha:p

I like the warmth added to the subjects, but I'm not totally in love with the effect on the trees in the background...they look just a tad too yellow...

But nice job, overall!

It's OK but they would probably appreciate it if you whiten their teeth just a touch. Don't overboard it, but adding the yellow makes their teeth look a little yellow.

Also, I would burn the grass in the foreground. Otherwise it's not really a bad shot.

It might be just a little too yellow. Maybe add a little vignette to cover up more of the background yellowing if you really like the temperature for the subjects.

Yes, a touch yellow. I'd desaturate just a little, and then add a vignette to focus the attention on the couple rather than the sharp blades of grass around them.

Thanks for all the feedback. I tried another scenario... what do you think of this version?

I would like the original just bumped up a little on contrast and saturation. The pp'ed versions are a little on the strong side for my humble tastes

Canon "Snappy".... Thanks Mom and Dad!

rlineberg, last has too much of a hot spot around their mouths. Second is by far the best, but try layering the original an then apply you pp. erase anything that looks too "over done" like the trees in the back ground etc.

Same here...the second is too warm.

Id bump up the saturation just a hair, soften their skintones a touch, add a light vignette and call it good!

The first or the last for me. The second picture looks too old and yellow for me. The third is good, right up my alley :)
