Dec 18, 2009 15:57 | #200 Wow - there are some awesome pictures on here. I could look at these all day. I got my first decent whitetail this year. And my first chance with my muzzle loader. This guy was about 160 lbs. field dressed. Not bad at all for TN. I'm having the head mounted. It's an 8 pointer; the G3 on the right side is barely long enough to count after being broken, but it is long enough.

Beautiful country, sounds like you guys have a great time hunting! I have a friend in Queensland that does a lot of hunting. I think he gets up into the mountains by helicopter. I haven't talked to him in a few weeks but he was hunting the roar, or the rut as we call it here. I saw a lot of bucks a couple of weeks prior to gun season, but the rut was over by the time I got out there with a gun. http://www.vimeo.com/user2334667
