Wow - there are some awesome pictures on here. I could look at these all day. I got my first decent whitetail this year. And my first chance with my muzzle loader. This guy was about 160 lbs. field dressed. Not bad at all for TN. I'm having the head mounted. It's an 8 pointer; the G3 on the right side is barely long enough to count after being broken, but it is long enough.

This is the buck I hunted for this season, never saw it during open season. I took the photo on November 16th, a few days before gun season opened.

Right outside of Hartman Creek State Park on hwy 54 in central Wisconsin.

I can also tell you where it wasn't all thru gun season, in front of my deer stand!

As far as we know this buck is still running around. Several neighbors had seen it this fall and were hunting for it but none ever got a bead on it. Our registering stations takes pictures of any worthy bucks brought in, but neither one of the nearest two has a picture of it.

It should be a really nice buck next year.

Nice shots boneywhitefoot! Beautiful country, sounds like you guys have a great time hunting! I have a friend in Queensland that does a lot of hunting. I think he gets up into the mountains by helicopter. I haven't talked to him in a few weeks but he was hunting the roar, or the rut as we call it here.

I saw a lot of bucks a couple of weeks prior to gun season, but the rut was over by the time I got out there with a gun.

It should be Queenstown, not Queensland, sorry about that.
