btw...I had a very cool space dream last night. I'm SO tempted to write it as a short story. Though I don't like sci-fi. Go figure.:lol:

As a medic we wore our rank as tack pins on the lapels of our white uniforms. I achieved the rank of Sargent when my parents came to visit while I was at George AFB. They were able to be there when our CO presented me with the rank and my Dad pinned on my new stripes. It was our, "you've reached adulthood" moment that each of us kids had at some significant point in our early 20's with our dad. *wipes leaky eyes*

Sure wish I could find the pictures. I'm sure I have them, somewhere.

One of my crappy shots from yesterday. I was really bummed with the stupid shadows. I had them facing the sun to jump and I totally bombed this. And, yeah, this is a composite of a bunch of shots.

The more posed ones are ok. I have some work to do dealing with a few blowouts on those.

Can I just say that shooting groups in full sun at 1pm is not a good idea.

You know what? Yeah, there are shadows. YOu were in full sun, which sucks.
BUT... that is a great concept, and a really great shot for what you were going for. They will LOVE it, and not even see the shadows. You are looking at it with a photographer's eyes.... look at it from their perspective. I bet every single one of them loves it.

True. Dang photographer's yes. They're like beer goggles in reverse.

I'm sure they will love it and I love the concept...the shadows bug me but you're right, I'm sure they won't care.

I did have to toss several images as one kid thought it would be funny to flip the bird in one shot among other inappropriate things.

I yelled at him this morning already.

And, yay on mikey eating only a leash. But, he must still be satiated from eating the spyder. :p

Morning all...bit of a tragedy in the area last night (not trying to be a downer) as there was a murder/suicide...the lady had made the news a while back for taking her firearm to her child's soccer game....her husband allegedly shot her. :( Can't help but wonder....nah. I'll leave my thoughts to myself. Their kids were home. That's what bugs the heck outta me. At least one is Blondie's age. :(

Tragic:( It is sad that people lose their minds to the point they will destroy so many lives just because they can't deal with their emotions.
As for the blood suckers in the news media making hay out of a story about her bringing a gun to the soccer game that is just typical yellow journalism. Pennsylvania is a "shall issue" carry permit state. Anyone legal to own a gun can get a permit. If one is in fear of being killed by their husband, or anyone else, why wouldn't they carry their gun to the game or anywhere else? An off duty cop would and they are just people too, having a badge doesn't make them any different. I don't know anything about the story and the fact the woman somehow exposed the fact she had a gun at the game probably means there is more to the story than I am hearing. I just get mad when a tragedy happens and the media looks to sensationalize it rather than looking at the root. A man cracked and killed his wife. He would have done it weather he was armed or not:(

If my parents knew what was going on in my HS, they would have never sent us there.

If parents really knew what was going on at most schools there would be a whole lot more home schooling. First floor bathroom in my school was like a pharmacy at lunch time. Kids lined up to get pot from the dealers that would hang in there.

Jinx had a thing for leather. She ate several bridals including an entire hunt bridal, reins and all:shock: That is like 8 pounds of extra thick leather. The cost around $300 dollars too. Then there was the time she ate Leyla's Cartier heirloom watch for the calves skin band it had.. That was a priceless piece sentimentally but if you put dollars on it, it was in the 10k range:shock:

Yo*waves* had client meetings this morning and am waiting for an online meeting. I may bail if I don't hear soon.

Do whats right HERE
