So, after doing some research, I've decided that Monty and Tootsie are Tibetan Spaniels. Mixes, of course, as there are little differences (most notable, their noses are longer).

Actually, I think he has pica.

How uninformed am I? I had no idea what pica was, but Googled and found THIS (external link) ditty on it relating to dogs.

Do I look any smarter now? :p

HAHA!!! Just got this in an email.

The secret of enjoying a good wine.

1. Open the bottle to allow it to breathe.

2. If it does not look like it's breathing, give it mouth-to-mouth.

It's been removed from prisons here in the UK because the inmates were drinking the stuff and getting drunk on the alcohol....

Don't judge the quality with this shot. It is a quick indoor shot with very low light... I'll try to take some real shots when I'll have time and the sun is back...

Hi ya Diane I"m alot better today thanks for asking How are you and your kidlets this morning

Thanks Deb, we're doing ok...the youngest is slightly whiny. :-S

Pete wrote in post #8783918 (external link)
Good to hear that. I'm pretty much over my cold as well. I slept pretty much all night long last night.

YAY!

sevillafox wrote in post #8784085 (external link)
One of my crappy shots from yesterday. I was really bummed with the stupid shadows. I had them facing the sun to jump and I totally bombed this. And, yeah, this is a composite of a bunch of shots.

The more posed ones are ok. I have some work to do dealing with a few blowouts on those.

Can I just say that shooting groups in full sun at 1pm is not a good idea.

I think....(see below)

Blah. Seems to be mostly back up now though.

sevillafox wrote in post #8784161 (external link)
Ugh. Lol. Not so much of a crisis for me but for those that rely on smuggy for their web presence (diane) I would be really annoyed.

I'm thinking I'm going to be uploading pictures to my hosting account when I put them on my blog instead of linking to smuggy.

Yep, that.

cfpackerfan wrote in post #8784235 (external link)
You know what? Yeah, there are shadows. YOu were in full sun, which sucks.
BUT... that is a great concept, and a really great shot for what you were going for. They will LOVE it, and not even see the shadows. You are looking at it with a photographer's eyes.... look at it from their perspective. I bet every single one of them loves it.

(from above) THAT! Listen to Cat. She is wise. ;)

sevillafox wrote in post #8784284 (external link)
True. Dang photographer's yes. They're like beer goggles in reverse.
I yelled at him this morning already.

I'd like the avi better without....shows her pretty face more!

Indeed on the beer goggles....how'd the yelling go? Was it fun?

*sniff* great story.

Tragic:( It is sad that people lose their minds to the point they will destroy so many lives just because they can't deal with their emotions.
As for the blood suckers in the news media making hay out of a story about her bringing a gun to the soccer game that is just typical yellow journalism. Pennsylvania is a "shall issue" carry permit state. Anyone legal to own a gun can get a permit. If one is in fear of being killed by their husband, or anyone else, why wouldn't they carry their gun to the game or anywhere else? An off duty cop would and they are just people too, having a badge doesn't make them any different. I don't know anything about the story and the fact the woman somehow exposed the fact she had a gun at the game probably means there is more to the story than I am hearing. I just get mad when a tragedy happens and the media looks to sensationalize it rather than looking at the root. A man cracked and killed his wife. He would have done it weather he was armed or not:(

Jinx had a thing for leather. She ate several bridals including an entire hunt bridal, reins and all:shock: That is like 8 pounds of extra thick leather. The cost around $300 dollars too. Then there was the time she ate Leyla's Cartier heirloom watch for the calves skin band it had.. That was a priceless piece sentimentally but if you put dollars on it, it was in the 10k range:shock:

Holy crapoly to the leather Zane...

And that is precisely the thoughts I was withholding. No one cared enough to find out WHY that mom felt the need to carry and brandish her firearm at the soccer game...no one gave a ****. It flat ticks me off. She was crying out for help, I'm sure of it. (edited verbage a little bit, sorry guys)

Skrim17 wrote in post #8784450 (external link)
Oh Cat don't think I was either!! Some of my guys eat some weird ish is all!! If you can't joke about it you need to step back I always say!

I have one who really likes hand sanitizer!!!!

YIKES, that's not good Crissa...can't you get really sick off the stuff?

Deeds, you don't have to put in St George. It actually finds it quicker if you don't.

And get all your friends to vote! You can vote every single day!
