ok...soaked it in alcohol for 20min....then in hyrdogen peroxide for 20min, Now have antibiotic ointment on it. I've done everything I can...here's hoping it's not infected.

Dan says tat is little smaller than a dime...when it heals up (I haven't seen it...she's sleeping) we'll take a photo.

man I'm just so disappointed in my shots. I had it on the wrong AF setting for action. Dangit.

We all get those Doh! moments (or in my case minutes) my last gem was walking out of a dark temple into bright sunlight and proceeding to shoot away at 1600 ISO for about 20 minutes :o:o

Funny Hale story.

When they "fix" the dogs, the give us the option to implant an ID microchip in the dog's leg while they're under. We did with Kona, so we did with Hale. While we were in the exam room for the pre-op, the vet asked if I wanted a tattoo on the inside of the leg to indicate that she has a ID chip "on board". Jokingly, I said, "Sure. A butterfly or a dragon would be nice. Nothing too big, but done with class." She laughed and I left for the day.

Fast forward to later in the day.

I went in to pick up a heavily drugged puppy. The tech was telling me all the stuff to do with a post surgery dog. Near the end of the impressive list, she said that I needed to put some Neosporin "there" so help the healing process. At first, I thought she was referring to the incision.

Nope.

Just inside her left thigh, there's a very small butterfly tattoo.

Dang dog has a tat.

Kewlness! Pics!

sigh...I was just giving Calypso her worm pills and she bit my finger to the bone. I cleaned it and am soaking it in alcohol. Sigh. I'm not going to ER for a cat bite. It's not bad but I know they are infectious.

Ouchy!

'Parently....

When it heals all up. Right now it's all red and irritated.

Hey, unfairness! I had to show a pic of my tat right after I got it.

no, I don't think so. They didn't give me a tetanus shot when Buddy bit me (he was dying from a paralyzing blood clot...I was holding him for the vet..he didn't know what he was doing) but they did put me on antibiotics. Calypso has never been outside, eaten anything other than cat food...hopefully she's fine.

I noticed that, too!

Reminds me of some of Permie's very early photos of Kitteh, before I brought the little terror home. Kitteh's markings on her side no longer form a valentine heart. She grew a little bigger, but that spot didn't stay proportional.

There's a Rothschild's Giraffe at the Wild Animal Park that has a heart-shaped mark on her neck. Heather and I have been calling her "Beanie" ever since she was born.

It could be. I always liked him as an actor and a while back we saw one of those biography of him. He's an interesting charecter for sure.

We met him about a year ago when he was signing copies of his autobiography at the San Diego Naval Station exchange.

Owww... Follow the instructions you've been given and you should be fine. I've been bitten by everything imagineable and I have yet to get an infection from any of them.
