A few people have commented on my (current) decision not spay the puppy.

I am not a great fan of neutering either dogs or **** unless there is a real and positive reason to do so, like over aggressiveness in dogs or the inability to keep a **** apart from dogs when in season.

There is no evidence that neutering makes animals better behaved or easier to train, and there is evidence to show that it can have a detrimental affect on weight and muscle composition.

If I am honest I think that a lot of neutering is for the convenience of the owners and not always in the best interest of the dog.

Of course if the owners do not have the time, resources or knowledge to "manage" their dogs than neutering is 100% the right thing to do.

The other reason is that I may very well breed from her, Take a look at her 5 generation pedigree and count the number of Field Trial Champions in there (30) so it would be a shame not to at least see how she turns out.

And I guess if any of you clicked on the link you now know the dark secret of her real name :-)

Well my dinner with Ernie was a wash out. We just found out about this theater yesterday reading the paper so we though we could just go to the movie and buy a ticket. Well, the show with Ernie was sold out. :( However, we now know the process and are looking forward to many other shows. Tomorrow night is MASH with Elliott Gould and Sally Kellerman hosting. Were trying to get tickets today. Also coming is the "The Wizard of OZ". That could be cool on the big screen and three of the Munchkins from the movie will be hosting. Were also are getting tickets for "The Birds" with Tippi Herdon hosting. THis could end up being a fun place.
