oh and in a pinch, when one doesn't want to ruin one's liver with straight tequila on the rocks, tequila & coke with lime is pretty good.

okay I'm going to bed.

Tomorrow I'm taking the day off, then I need to process Nichole's senior photos.

Night Lisa, I am looking at your gallery, stunning.

Hmm, I'll have to look that project up. I'm unfamiliar with it.

It's on the googles.

National Geographic tv is doing a show on redwoods right now. Mike Fay and Micheal Nichols did a transect of the forest. Faye is an explorer and Nichols a photographer. They did amazing work when they did a transect of Africa. The Redwoods study is in the magazine this month.

Agreed!

Heather very nice. Love the processing too John.

Thanks. I think I'm going to start teaching Heather the basics of Lightroom when she gets back from Arizona. She's becoming more accomplished as a photographer and it's time she started learning the back end.

Another of Katy to share...this one was a favorite for Mom when they had their proofing session yesterday. Permie, families like theirs are why I do in-person proofing. They had questions about metallic vs. lustre, storyboards and canvas, collages, all sorts of things. Besides the fact it was fun to see their reactions.... ;) ETA: Gah, compression killed that sucker. It looks fine irl.

Cute!

The gross bit:-

I just drank some coffee and spat out a dead fly. And it wasn't one of those tiny little ones neither, it was significantly meaty.
