Hale's getting a collar/leash in the heart pattern and Kona's getting a collar in the red celtic weave. Aren't they pretty.

Yes, they are.

G'even. My new bathroom is painted. Well, I still have to do the cutting in and fixing where I got paint on the ceiling.

I always post photos of Kona so today when I was playing with one of my manual focus lenses (I didn't very well...3 shots of 10 were in focus) I took some photos of Hale.

Cute. I am all about pups on the furniture but I don't know about on that gorgeous couch:shock:

I just made myself a breve. It's hard to photograph it when I'm doing it LOL but I decided to try.

Nice having coffee with you :)

That would be fantastic except for the fact that I've never tried rootbeer before.

Sherka (Shere Kahn; my sister's kennel is Mowgli's Labs) does know better, usually. But he hadn't seen my BiL (other sister) for a while at that "late Christmas" family get-together.

Cute shot

Just got home. Drove to Snohomish and back today, 480 miles round trip. We are now living with an almost 2 year old granddaughter for the next week and a half. Wish me luck.

Luck!

Good stuff, is there much more to paint yet. I pretty much only have one of the walk-in closets and the ensuite to do, and we have not even started the finish in the ensuite.

Why did you put paint on the ceiling if it was not meant to be there? ;)
You must be related to my wife. I think she does stuff like that to get out of doing the painting.
I always do the cutting first, so the roller covers most of it.
Wait...you are spraying, right?

Wait...you are spraying, right?

There's LOTS more to paint. The whole living room AND the kitchen ceiling. But, we've hired that done. They aren't spraying. They just sprayed the primer.

And, yeah, I got a little blue on the ceiling. Oops. And, I HATE cutting in so I postpone it. Plus, I suck at it. And, when I started painting....aidan was helping with his own roller. I didn't have an extra paintbrush.

Glad your painting is almost done.

Last night, after I took my getting-ready-for-work-shower, I went to put my watch back on. Just as I was closing the clasp, the watchband broke. Cwap! So, I went to work without my watch. Funny thing, though, I didn't really miss it. With the car stereo's clock, my cell phone's clock and the work PC clock, I only glanced at my naked wrist two or three times throughout the day...

But, about an hour or so into my shift at work, my nervous habit kicked in and I reached up to my left earlobe, as I've done countless thousands of times over the years. Only, this time it paid off. One of my earrings was missing the back! The earring itself was barely hanging in there, and I thought I must have lost the back pretty recently, so I scoured the floor near my desk, on hands and knees. I couldn't find the back piece. I'll have visit a local jewelry store to get a replacement.

I'm just glad the earring didn't fall out and get lost, also. There's a third-carat diamond in that setting. I paid a little over $300 for the pair when I bought them more than 20 years ago...

I'm wondering if, for a while, I should forego wearing my silver necklace with the tiny, hollow paw-shaped pendant that contains some of Ashley's ashes. At least until I can determine if my bad luck with jeweled accessories is over...

Talk about bad luck. Glad you did not loose your earring. While getting the back replaced, have them do a check on your neckalace.

when I was a little girl, I used to love to brush my doll's hair...

when I had a little girl, I used to love to brush her hair...

now, I love to brush Kona's hair. It's so cute. I'll say "you want me to brush you" and he jumps up on Dan's chair and just waits til I do his ears and then go all over him. He's pretty affectionate too...he's the only one (of all of them) that seemed to like his hair being brushed.:lol::lol::lol:

Awwww. Kona can be so sweet when he wants to be.
