Though this photo was taken only 14 months ago, it seems longer. But, that is a good thing.

Coffee plantation rant:

This is called "Fresh Coffee":

They had enough on hand for Lisa's visit.

Would like to go back if for no other reason than to shoot this place again properly:

Drying out:

Lisa's empties:

Can ya smell it? Huh? Can ya?

Loved your coffee rant Dan. I really liked the gecko though.

Bold post Jim, funny but very bold!

We have two Sugar Pines in our back yard. If we owned, rather than being renters, I'd chop em up for firewood. The cones are big and heavy. When one of them falls on the roof at night, it wakes us up. The points are extremely sharp. If one ever fell and hit someone, it would be a bad situation...

QUOTED IMAGE

OUCH those would hurt alot if you were hit with one of them.

we've been gone for hours and part of that is because some dork-wad thought it'd be brilliant to drive an oversized load across a small city bridge & wedged himself in...of course virtually cutting off any way into town....

I really hate stupid people

Costco has them for $20.

I know...I'm not stylish but it's WAY cute on. I got the green flannel.

That will keep you nice and warm Lisa.

GGGGGGGgggaaaaaaaaaaaaa....that is exactly what I've been looking for.

...............GGGGGGGGGgggggggggggggggaaaaaaaaaaaa and they have it in girls. GGGGGgggggggggggggggaaaaaaaaa, I live no where near a Costco.

Chili is at a nice simmer for reduction and blending of flavors. :D Come on down, up and over. s/b ready in about 1 hour....though a full afternoon slower simmer is even better. :D

You can also order online if you have a membership.

Thanks Heather. :D The dogs we brought home today aren't fosters here though. They all went to our Apple Valley facility (except Sophie who went to a foster home).
We'll contact Border Collie rescue for Lily and Maddie.

oh my gosh, I HATE tv/movies that make me cry. I just for the first time ever, watched the very last MASH episode. Dangit.

I was watching that, too. But, I've seen it many times. I even remember watching it when it originally aired.

What channel was that on? That was a great finale for sure.

I wasn't even paying attention to what channel it was.

So, where do you find these motels that allow multiple, big dogs? Even though I've done a lot of traveling with mutts, almost all of the motels I've gone to have a limit of one dog per room, and they generally limit the dog's weight to somewhere in the 20 to 30 pounds range.

oh gosh I LOVE hounds (goes back to Where the Red Fern grows). I wanted one but they just aren't suited to the city and small lots. I'd like to see a photo of him, normal. Where is he now?

There are quite a few hotels that don't have a weight limit... La Quinta, Shilo Inns, are a couple.

La Quinta doesn't ask how many dogs you have. No ask no tell.
