Works pretty good to me.... maybe a boost in contrast or blacks? Looks like it's made of chocolate... Mmmm...

My dear hubby is 40 today. Let's all wear black.

What's wrong with 40? Many of us will never see that again, unless we adopt it as a "reversal point".

Happy Birthday, Wade! The best years are yet to come.

I like it (of course ). It is too clean if you are trying to create an 'old look' in the shot, but not unacceptably so. You could try adding a little noise, but only if you're trying for the look of an old, worn photo.

Interesting effect from the lens you used. The normal perspective seems a little whacked. Apparently you used a fairly long lens, and it actually makes the engine look tapered (i.e. larger in the back than the front).

I really had to look closely to determine this was a live steamer, and not a real loco.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Ah... 40. Those crazy, carefree days! Not a care in the world! Thought we'd live forever. The world was our oyster when we were that young. If I only knew then what I know now....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, WADE!!

I am trying for an old photo look. And it does look like clean chocolate.. Back to the drawing board.

Don't worry, Dan. It's only a temporary frustration. When you reach my age, you'll have forgotten it again.

Happy Birthday, Wade. FWIW, you're just a kid.

Not really. Older photos tend to fade, and the contrast washes out a bit. You might want to try that.

Come on, let's get that #1 spot!

You got two votes from me today. I voted at work from my laptop via the hospital's guest wifi. But, when I tried to vote again from my workstation, every time I clicked on the vote button it just went right back to the "select a shelter" screen, kinda like it knew I'd already voted. I don't know how it would have known, though. Two different computers even separate networks.

Oh, well. I just got the second vote in once I got home...
