Every year , Henderson NV holds the 2009 Super Run , this is the 10th year it has been held in Henderson just 3 blocks from the house. Before that it was in LV.
Well over 1500 rods , customs , muscle car , resto's , bikes and ratrods attend , and another 200+ parked on side street parking areas.

Some mind blowing customs and some very well preserved or restored vintage iron. Temps were hot , but the crowd was heavy. Many times it was impossible just to take a picture without someone in it.

It was darn near impossible to get picts where something wasn't growing out of some part of the car , the show is held on the main street thru downtown. Gear used was a Rebel XT , 17-85 with a CPL filter.

Till next year...(when I will stick to my plan of getting their earlier to take picts of the cars that are uncovered early )

Yup! Car shows are tough. First get a shot of the car & then try for something better. By then, people should notice you & try to stay out of your way. Maybe... ;)
Nice light on #4.
#1: I'd have included the sign & cropped the owner out.
In #2 @ f/13, I'd like to at least see the blower sharp?

Thanks... in # 1 a lady with a stroller was blocking the sign...talking on her cell... I swear she stood there for 15 minutes yappin. I went back early the last day just to get clear shots of this car before the crowd showed , it remained covered for too long...drats. Oh well , next year I will try to get a little bit better.

in # 2 I was going for the 426 logo to be sharp...I missed :(

I had big plans of how to get better picts , but I spent so much time ogling the cars , the picts became secondary , as I had my 3 sons in tow , and they had lots of questions :)

With the reading of your posts & tips , I am hopefully improving over where I was at last year , still living on "auto" mode then.
