SanDisk Extreme Compact Flash Firewire Card Reader (902)
Does any body know if this reader is getting upgraded or changed, having problems here in the UK obtaining one, everybody is out of stock and some shops have been told they have stopped making them.

Canon 1D MKIV, Canon 1DX , Canon 5DMKIII, Canon 85 1.8 , 400 f2.8L is ,24-70 2.8,L , 70-200 2.8isL ,16-35 f2.8L , 1x4, Sigma 35 1.4, Fuji XT1.

They most likely will be coming out with faster card readers to handle the super fast speeds of their newer generation of cards. Oddly the readers don't show readily available with the introduction of the cards.

The one I just got [2 or 3 months ago] was a firewire 800 . The cable is firewire 400 to 800 .
I am still looking for an 800 to 800 cable .
I did find and bought an adapter from 400 to 800 , so I can plug into my Macbook . Everything else I have is 400 , so was not unhappy when cable was firewire 400 to 800 .
I am in USA .
