First visit to Loton Park, and I'll definately be back next year, a great place and a great event. A fantastic selection of cars being driven as they should be.

Onto the pics, all with 40d and various lenses...

1. I'll start with a Nash

2. A very nice Riley Brooklands

3. Another Riley with a bit of panning

4. Newton 200 mile race car pushing hard through the final corner

5. Another Nash on its way to set FTD

6. Hudson Super Six powering towards the finsh

7. Morgan special sideways as it always is

8. And the GNAT to finish, with a lot of concentration

Thanks for looking, comments welcomed as always.

There's more on the website if your interested.

Lovely :)

You can't beat Hillclimbs. I think i'll be spending more time at Harewood next year as each meeting i've been to this year has been superb.

Wow that looks like a fun event. Some crazy contraptions they got there.

Great captures.

Thanks,

Couldn't agree more, I keep adding a couple of extra hillclimbs each year, helps when there so popular with the VSCC.

A lovely set of cars and pics. I love #3. What shutter speed did you use for it ? I'm still experimenting with shutter speeds for panning.

The driver of the Morgan in #7 must be expecting the worst.....the letters R.I.P. are etched into the right rocker cover !

Thank you. :) No.3 was shot at 1/60, I'm not really into panning shots but try to get a few here and there to mix it up a little.

The little Morgan is actually known as the RIP Special, not sure why though.

Love hillclimbs - there's the Duryea hillclimb in Reading, PA which is a blast. Great shots!
