I think this is my best attempt to date :D

PHOTOBUCKET EMBEDDING IS DISABLED BY THIS MEMBER.

Very nice. Just the right amount of trailing for me, and just the right background glow too. Love it!

My battery was getting low and the lens was fogging up, there were 80 exposures but I only used 60.

I use this method except I used ISO 400 instead of 800 or 1600.

Did you have to focus on a specific star or will anyone do?

Yeah, just by looking in the sky I couldn't tell you which one it is. I just used a general direction.
