Aarghh.. having trouble chosing between this lens and the 24-105. I think I'd miss the wide angle when using the 24-105.
These shots you guys make are amazingly sharp.

I agree. I had the same doubt when I purchased my 60D.
I bought the 15-85, because I wont upgrade into FF.
The 15-85 is amazing lens. You wont be disappointed.
The 15-23mm focal lenth is very useful in Cropped sensors.

Do yourself a favor - buy the 15-85mm and if you go FF, then just sell it and deal with it. I love my 15-85mm on my 7D. Do I plan on going FF? Probably. When? Who knows.

Why put off enjoying your camera? Heck - by the time you go FF - there will probably be some new latest and greatest. Work with that you can afford and will work best for what you've got now. You won't regret it.

The only thing I don't like about this lens is it's not fast enough sometimes (when the night comes or inside without a flash). Apart from that ? Built quality, range, sharpness... Everything is great about this lens!

The top is Upper Lyman Lake and the bottom is Lyman Lake. They're in the Glacier Peak Wilderness in WA state.
