Is it just me, or as time passes pictures here are getting much better? I think any concerns with the 7D being 'soft' or washed out are falling through the floor as people are really starting to get to grips with the complex AF system on board... it's great to see some photo's that are doing it justice.
Keep them coming!

@JJ_glos, I love it! 7D's film-like grain is fun.

They are, and I think you are correct. Before I got mine, I watched the BH videos, read the manual, etc.. I educated myself the best I could before even getting it in my hand. This way, when it did arrive, I never had an issue or confusion with any AF options on the camera.

I had a very, very slight learning curve (what is best to use, when), but my focus hit rates are near perfect. You just have to learn what to use, when.

Love the 7D, keep being impressed by it...

The camera is a beast. One of my first shots - messing with wireless flash:

Nice photo, Mohammed. If only you had some lights to light up the horse and rider, that would of made for a fantastic image! Good nonetheless. Thanks for sharing.

Looking at the bridle and stirrup, I think he had some flash but it wasn't enough to light the subject.

Yeah, I noticed that before my reply. Perhaps I should clarify by much more "powerful" lighting + reflectors etc... :D (But those are brought along for planned shoots and this one was likely spur-of-the-moment capture.)

Some more powerful lighting would possibly be another great photo but the silhouette works well for me in that one.
