The weather recently has stopped me getting out as much as I would like, but here is a couple from before christmas. Nothing special but hopefully a little different.

Not much colour to be found around here this time of year so here's some brown stuff taken with the Sigma 70-200 during the golden hour:

Not too sharp as it was handheld at 1/160 at 200mm

I had deliberately composed it so that bullrush thingie was in the top left corner. I regret that now.

Other than my foibles I like both shots.

^ Looks like someone used the wireless flash transmitter function. :D nice sharp photo. Looks like it can be some LP album cover.

This is a shot of Agecroft Hall in Richmond, Virginia. The current building in Richmond is a portion of a 16th-17th Century manor house in Lancashire, England, that was dismantled, transported to the U.S., and re-built in the 1920s. Shot with the EF-S 15-85 f/3.5-5.6 IS (EXIF data is intact).

Composure leaves little to be desired but I like the sheen of water on this duck's head. 300 2.8 and my 7D.

Hehe My son has the same toy she's playing with in the first photo. At one time he was able to spell xylophone.. he was maybe 3 at the time. I got it on video. It was hilarious. :)
