Had to go and fill up the car this afty, thought I'd take the camera on the off chance, and we got a rainbow! If I had an UWA I could've got the whole thing in shot as the other end was inthe next field!

edit: Also a bit of a play with HDR (handheld so all a bit blurry!). I know it's not to everyones taste, seemed the easiest way to get foreground details back in this shot though? I need to get some filters...

i feel very comfortable on the 7d now especially with all my custom functions where i want them. She (7D) performed great yesterday. happy with the reults. i would cringe when i started hitting 1250 with my 40d but not anymore

iso-1250 f/6.3 at 1/200

very minor PP on this image, sharpening and cropping

The first is with an 18-55 500d kit lens and I also have no clue about landscapes so a combination of the two is not going to be great! The HDR is from 3 handheld exposures, so taking that into account I still think it makes for an interesting image?

This is my second 7d and I haven't had much chance to use it yet, hopefully this one is ok! Any soft shots are more likely going to be due user error on my part I should imagine :)

What was wrong with your first 7D??

Is that kit lens worth buying? It comes for an extra $180.
