Wow, such a cute face. And so well lit!

Why thank you, I hope your not a dude btw

Note that the 430 is direct, not shot into an umbrella or softbox, we don't have stuff like that at BBY ;)

I dont want to start a new thread but I got a question in reference to the 7D, is there a tutorial (a pretty good one) on how to work the Wireless flash built in to the camera? The manual is a bit confusing, it helps if theres a video I can watch and go along with. I looked at canons resource/ learning center, that video isn't informative enough and doesn't go into the options as deeply as I want it.

Snoop AMAZING! OVI!!!!!!!!!!! I got my own Ovi shot when I went to a game, not a 7D (taken with my Rebel XT) but a fellow Caps fan can let this one slide :)

Also here is a 7D with a self portrait shot at work trying to figure out the wireless flash system with a 430EX :)

Julian, I am a fan of the photos you post, then I saw you had a kid, congratulations, but congratulations aside, I feared that there would be a pile of kid pics, which, if I am honest is not my thing, yet, you have still managed to post a beautiful well composed moment in life that I enjoyed. Thank you, and again, congratulations.

:D Thank you. You can continue to surf POTN photo archives and this 7D photo thread with ease as I don't plan on flooding POTN w/ photos of my kid. I'll leave that to my blog and/or online galleries (if I ever get the chance to update them that is).

Thanks again for the congrats. Now if I can only remember what a good night's sleep was all about...

Here are some 4000 ISO shots. I am happy considering I was shooting through a scuffed and marked glass panel. It is hard to avoid glare and marks in glass. Shooting threw these marks can create haze over player and loss of contrast.

Used the 7D in the studio today for some still-life stuff for an exhibition... I was seriously impressed with the sharpness/colour/detail it gave, even with my 28-135.
It was churning out images just as great as the 5D2 + 24-105L. Had a great day.

SHooting hockey is next to impossible if your not using one of those little cut outs in the glass. But the 7D looks very capable of handling that unlike my old XT!

Cannot wait to go out and shoot some stuff today. Here is a test shot I took last night, no photoshop just scaled down with the cats nose at 100% crop.

btw guys and gals what do you have your 7D settings at? Such as sharpening, contrast, do you leave that alone or have you all dialed it in?
