Just took some Panda pics today. 24-105 is perfect for Zoo.

Noise at low ISO will not occur if you slightly over expose image. slightly under exposed will add noise. bump ISO up or lower shutter speed.

very nice. What f-stop? I've only had time to check the lcd so far, but it seems that anything over f8 loses quality for me fast....again, haven't had a chance to check on anything but the lcd.

Agreed, I love how the 7D has cropability plus has a lot of dynamic range, All of these required exposure tweaking (Since im still adjusting to how the meter thinks I was letting it do its own thing so i know how it "thinks"...its consistent at least unlike my 30D..) and they were all done at ISO800, The majority had to be pushed about +2/3 in lightroom which only exacerbated the noise..

The nonexistent noise that is...

I have noticed you need to overexpose a bit to get rid of some noise.
