The bird was perched inside a courtyard. the catchlight you see is the sky bounded by the courtyard roof. No other light. Any artisitic quality is purely by accident :)

Hello everyone, I just picked up my 7D today, got an unexpected check in the mail - and whoa! I'm loving its size and picture quality. I slapped on the 24-70 2.8 and went to town in my upstairs apartment, and I think this cam will compliment the 1D mk3 quite nicely!

For some strange reason the factory spelled Canon backwards on your camera.
