How about "he wasn't driving the car, but someone else was". And he (the photographer) was sitting behind the driver, who moved his head to one side (the left) at the critical moment.


5D & 7D (both gripped), 24-105L, 100-400L, 15-85, 50 f1.8, Tamron 28-75, Sigma 12-24, G10, EX-Z55 & U/W housing, A1+10 lenses, tripods, lighting gear, etc. etc.

Haha actually I took the photo using my right hand. Then in PS I copied and reversed the left hand and put it on the right side of the steering wheel. Bob's your uncle.

my next guess would've been that you just put the empty gloves on the steering wheel and drive with your knees something like that

by the way... damn i love driving with my knees! haha. i dunno what's so manly about it but I drive manual with one hand on the shifter and the other one sticking out of the window 8)
