I think the hardest part was selecting the bars. I did it in sections. First only 1 bar then 2 then a larger section. Once Each group was selected I expanded my selection by 10 pixels (arbitrary number that just seemed to work on the full sized image) and then did a content aware fill. That did a pretty good job. The cleanup after was minor in comparison. Some areas were fine as is and others did need cloning or healing brush. I was amazed on how good a job it did but still needed my help. I don't know if I ever would have attempted this if I had to clone it myself. I started out just playing around and removed 1 bar between the eyes. It went so well that I tried more and more. Excellent results IMO.

I was standing between Stanfield cutoff and the launch ramp right down on the water line. I'm ready for ski season already.. ![]() I wasn't aware of the water being that close. I was a kid and pre-teen at the time, so that probably plays a factor. 7D | EOS M | Sigma 30mm f/1.4 | Canon 70-200mm f/4L IS USM | Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM | Canon EF-M 22mm f/2 STM | flickr

jwcdds Cream of the Crop More info | Jun 26, 2010 22:58 | #6761 If you have a decent image viewer, you can just drag and drop the images onto the desktop and then view the EXIF for more information. Granted this doesn't always work because sometimes the EXIF is obliterated in post or by the imaging host (I know Smugmug doesn't provide that info). But if nothing else, I think you'd get better feedback/info if you just find the images you like, and probably PM the poster for more information. Julian
