Franconia Notch is in New Hampshire near the base of the White Mountains. Beautiful any time of the year, but especially so in Autumn. :)

I guess it's the lens! No, not really played with sharpening. As I said. First real play with RAW, and hopefully will get better results soon!

What lens was it? Try going into the sharpening tab and playing a bit. Be sure you are at 100% res when you do it. Play with something like 85-100%/1.0 and slide things around a bit to see what they do. Careful of over-sharpening though.

My kind of shot. Love time expos of water. Try going HDR with it to pull that overexposed area down and see what you can do. I'll be it would be really nice. Maybe just a two shot blend, one like this, and one exposed for the hot spot at the light source.
