This is one i took today its one of those planes that are very very high up .
Rob.

Don't planes have to be like 50 or 60 thousand feet up to leave a vapor trail? (I'm not talking about an F22 "squeezing" the vapor out either :D )

And isn't a mile a bit over 5,000 feet?

Nice!

What's in your (external link) sippy cup?
My stuff:
A low-light hi-def rapid shooter, a sniper, a couple old school 35s.

Some L, a nifty f/1.4, a kit IS, some slow EFs and two crappy Qs.

Depends on temp and humidity, not altitude

B-17's left vapor trails and they could no way fly that high. As a kid, I use to see AA Constellations flying over and they would occasionally leave vapor trails. I think it's a function of the humidity in the air and air pressure.

Got my new 7D today and went to a local 20-20 cricket match to try out some of the new features. So far I am very happy with it. :D

Superb Cricket shot (unlike the batsman.!!) Aust2000. Well done.

Hi RiaGurl, I also use NoiseNinja. I actually installed Kodak Digital GEM mostly for my film scans - it does a wonderful job reducing grain - way better than your typical noiseware program. For high ISO digital images I prefer the Kodak plug-in because it smears less than NoiseNinja would. It is VERY easy to use- no magic to it.

For all my film scans I use Kodak and anything digital above ISO1600 I try Kodak first - in other words, when I see significant noise, I give Kodak a try first.
