I have this lens a few days.
I sold my old 100mm for it and I'm very happy I did.

The colors have so much more 'pop', it's simply amazing!

Here are some examples of my macro work.
Tonight I have a little party and post some portraits.

Here's a shot of my old Canon A75's sensor, taken with the 100L and 68mm of extension tubes (so about 2:1 magnification). If you're interested in the disassembly, see the thread here.

Eh?

Manufacturers do this ALL the time. It's to help them cut cost and save them a production line if someone's already got it going and is willing to sell it to you for cheap-ish.

Last I checked, Ford's "hybrid" system is actually Toyota's technology. It's just how the world works.

Actually, if I recall correctly, the A75 also used a Sony sensor. I was told by a camera shop that Sony source CCD's for these models had a design flaw with the glue, and over time they came apart.

Makes perfect sense, now that I think about it. My honda cb600f uses a voltage regulator/rectifier made by ducati. Please excuse my brain fart.

More pics from this lens please?
