Khloe, khloe, KHLOE!!

Editorial photoshoot for designers, Stello Couture and Clutch Crown Accessories... Model and Instagram phenom, Khloe Terae, joined the shoot as our guest... 1Dx + 100L IS Macro... ISO 640, f/3.5 @ 1/320sec... Natural light coming from the large window... Loving this glass for tight portraiture work... It's typically unconventional to use macro lenses for this type of workflow, but I love how the little details with fashion/couture pieces are captured...

This is Necydalis mellita, a kind of longhorn beetle. Its overall appearance is that of a wasp, and is probably a case of mimicry to ward off predators. Note the very short elytra, a giveaway that it is a beetle. It also has eyes that wrap around the antennas. Burlington, Canada.
