Thanks to MikeES and MENSUR for your input and advice. Yes, the 17-55 is the Canon and when the operator is sharp so are the images. Thanks.

that's a very cool shot of the lion. i dont mean cool cool, i mean it is not hot cool....what i mean is it is of a cool color temperature:cool:

Bridge99 - fantastic shot! really well done

Picked up the lens yesterday, still playing around with it and getting a hang of everything, especially proper focusing at f/2.8 (i missed it a bit as you can see, but thought id post it up anyways)
