So here's Ken Shamwow telling us that the Leica M9 is better than the 5DMkII. He's gone totally bananas on this one with his methodology. He has clearly missed focus on the 5DMkII shots (he shows RAW first then JPEG). Then due to a white balance issue he ignores, he claims that Noinks JPEG are the best in the industry.

With this and the B&H video he did, he fell from "entertaining idiot" to "total moron" on my scale.

this guy is simply amazing. i see he failed to mention the mass amounts of chromatic abration in the leica, but clearly its better than the canon! and upsizing the d300 because he couldnt get his hands on a d3x? wtf is that all about? this guys kills me. thanks for sharing.

Actually, by visiting his site and NOT clicking on his sponsors you are actually costing him more money in bandwidth :P

I'm not defending him because I think this article is stupid as well (and it's not too difficult to get a 5D Mark II in focus with a tripod). But it's worth noting that he doesn't claim to be a scientific tester and he said he'd never buy the D3x because it's too expensive. I'm pretty sure he owns all the cameras he tests.

I would be shocked if it was a magazine or some kind of more professional website, but this is Ken Rockwell.

.Against all odds with only 18MP, the lowest-resolution LEICA M9 with the oldest lens from 1964 have as much— or more — fine detail than the best from China (Nikon) and Japan (Canon) today

do what??? what a bafoon

So an upsized D300 image is equivalent to a D3x made in China?
