I have a genesis 400 and am using a 24" X 36" softbox. Was thinking about going to a 59" or a 67" ocabox, Has anyone tried this, or how big would you go?

I just received the 59" octa that's in the link above. I've used it with my genesis 200s and I believe that for the money, it can't be beat.

The assembly instructions are not that good but not too hard to figure out.

how heavy is it and does the bracket that attaches the flash to the light stand creep forward? I have the Calumet 36x48 and sometimes It has a hard time holding it at the angle I want it to be set at.

Just a tip fer ya: The small gray bar on the back of the Genesis lights is a good place to suspend a counterweight to offset the creeping you mentioned. I bought one of those little 1lb dumb bells, and when I got to a softbox, I use two small bungees to attach it....hangs out of the way so I can get to the controls, and keeps my lights from attacking folks! :)

I have been using a ball bungee attached to the light stand it self but had not thought of using a counter weight attached to the handle on the back. Thanks John

I bought this exact same one also (from this seller also)...and ditto what Jon said...certainly not an Elinchrom, but for the money, can't be beat. It comes with a speedring too, so just considering that alone, it's still cheaper than a Calumet speedring by itself!

Is this also foldable like the one they sell at PCB?

Jerome...if you mean like an umbrella, then no. It dismantles pretty much how any softbox would. The rods can stay in their respective loops and the whole thing can be rolled up and stuffed into the carrying case that comes with it (again, not the best quality case, but it will do...it's better than nothing)
