I just wanted to let everyone know that Adorama just sent me a shipping confirmation for the BG-E7, so they're finally shipping. Now, if they could just send me that 7D that goes with it...

Wishful thinking on my part if it can catch up to my Monday delivery. But soon enough. When your tracking number starts working (mine still doesn't, but yours might), it SHOULD give you an estimated delivery date. I hope you get yours whenever you're expecting to get it. FedEx has ground shipping, too, so they may have used that option because of the free shipping deal. Either way, it looks like I'll be staring at the grip while imagining that there's a body attached to it. I hate the waiting game, but I knew the rules going into it, so I guess I'll just have to continue to wait patiently. Damn that 11% cashback! Hello, my name is Victor.

Oh, well... Hello, my name is Victor.

I'll probably end up getting this in a month or so. I don't have the camera with me today, but the grip pretty much feels the same as the 5D MKII grip, except it has the M-Fn button on it, which is nice. It's definitely built better than the BG-E2N grip, but it's still feels like a typical Canon brick-shaped battery grip. connecticut wedding photographer

Then I got their email today its on the way. Haven't shot an ungripped DSLR in awhile. At least it will be easier to tell the difference in my two cameras
