Bank it or invest it. It seems like you have your gear pretty much covered. With this growing economy you can easily gain a 50% increase in quite a short time (a day or a week) if invested correctly.Or maybe help out somebody else with it. Little favors go a long way.

Sorry if I sound like a philanthropist... LMAO....

Umm...not all scholarships are based on need. This one was given based off of recommendations from professors and GPA. And I didn't say that it wasn't hugely appreciated.

I think I will be saving the money though, after thinking about it last night.

There you go!!!... I went to school for 4 years and paid almost nothing thanks to my grades, community service and leadership... I banked, banked and banked... 24 and saving for a house... The market can treat ya goooodddd sometimes....

I know they're not, I'm saying they should be :)
I live in Belgium and the same thing happens here, people get 3k because they're parents don't make enough money and they qualify for aid, yet all they buy is a 5DMkII and 16-35 2.8 and 580exII. That's not what that money is for though. I'm not trying to be rude it's just something that really annoys me.

Had a 50 f/1.4 for a couple years, although I loved it I sold it when I bought a 24-70L. That lasted about a year before I realized I was reaching for the 17-40 or the 70-200 WAY more often. I tend to go wide or long...

If it were me I would hold tight until this crazy price spike on lenses comes back down. Of course there is a chance it may not.
