We were driving through a local park the other day while it was raining and we came across 10 or 15 of these birds. Can anyone tell me what it is?
Jon.

Maybe they will lose their fear of man again and start showing up on golf courses and in the parks again. They eat bugs and small animals and around here are mostly seen in harvested fields. Wait till he barks. If you've never experienced that, it'll scare the crap out of you the first time up close. Mitch- ____...^.^...____

On holiday in central Florida last summer there were three of these guys quite happily wandering around the housing development next to the golf course where we stayed. On several occasions I had to stop the car so they could walk across the road in front of me. Lovely birds. Sheryl
