After the rain stopped yesterday I returned to the area I took the picture. I saw a few more European Starlings.One actually landed near me in a tree but I couldn't get a shot of him. Now that I know what these are, they are kind of easy to ID. Well I learned a new bird with the help of you guys and want to say "Thanks". Now I only need to learn few hundred more LOL.

We have starlings in Australia, not native, introduced. Ours are a bit different to that but it looks like some kind of starling to me too.
