Thanks! Took a handful of shots and this was one of the best. Though they all looked very similar, you can see as much detail as possible that night on this shot.

Love the contrast against the pitch black sky, whether real or not.

first one is the best in my view, you've captured the subtle colours of the moon very well.

for an experiment try increasing the saturation a little to bring the colour out even further.

Love these shots, what is your white balance set to? I did some tonight and got a strong orange hue to the moon for some reason.

Same here. I prefer shots of a not-full moon anyway, but it looks more 3D to me, with better contrast. Second image looks flat and lacks contrast.

Still both very good though...very sharp.
