I would like to see some pictures of how you guys have arranged the foam insert with the pelican cases.
I am about to order a case and im likely to go with the foam version.
A search only shows cases with the padded dividers, so real-life pictures of the foam-version would be much appreciated.

Are you referring to pluckable foam? that stuff is good only when your equipment complement is never expected to change...better to get dividers which you can change the configuration.

Thank you for your advice, im testing out a friends 1550 with the padded inserts as we speak, that is actually what brought me to think about the pluck-able foam.
I have yet to figure out a way to arrange my lenses in such a way that they are snug in all directions, which is something that i would like.
Limiting the range of motion from side to side is not a problem, it is the vertical movement that i would like to limit as well.
