I'm having a bit of a problem with my 400D this afternoon!
I've connected the camera to the computer as usual. The computer recognises the camera, the CF light on the camera is blinking rapidly - indicating that it is reading the CF card, all is normal.
About a minute or so in, the camera freezes and the CF light turns off. The green power light remains on even after I disconnect the camera and turn the power dial to the off position.
I've removed and replaced the CF card and swapped batteries twice, also tried uploading to my laptop rather than the desktop.
I know I should use a CF card reader (which I shall be investing in tomorrow!!) but was wondering if anyone has a short-term solution?
