Sorry to keep posting ID help again, but this is my first year birding and I'm trying to learn. Is this bird a "White-throated Sparrow"? I do have a couple bird books, but when thumbing through them some of the birds look a-like and then there are females ,juveniles etc. I know this shot isn't very good and is a heck of a crop. I just want to know what kind of bird this is. Thanks in advance.

No problem asking questions for ID I just wanted to turn you on to a couple of other sources.

This is a great website: http://www.birds.cornell.edu/ (external link)

I highly recommend this book as well.http://www.amazon.com …oks&qid=1254581464&sr=8-1 (external link)

Keep shooting and posting. The birds you are catching are intersting to see. ;)
