Trying another new venture with my photography - skateboarding. Tough sport to capture. This is a small park just off I-5 on Horseshoe Lake in Woodland, Washington.

Comments and suggestions always appreciated.

And something with a little more color -

I REALLY like number one but his arm looks to be in sharper focus than his face?

maybe number two needs a faster shutter speed? skateboarder looks abit blurry
also, the background is kind of busy and distracting

did they land the tricks in two and three? in the pics, it looks like they have lost control of their skateboards

Dave,
Liking # 3 the most. Maybe a verticle crop to # 2, clone out the sign then that would be my pick. Is this treatment ps a plug-in or did you do the pp yourself?
Did you get any fishing in? Oak Tree for lunch?
Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the comments. You are probably correct on the shutter speed. One of the reasons we made the trek to Woodland was the BG was a bit better there....

They weren't landing many at all but having fun learning. We were working the angles to get these to look a bit more dramatic.

Thanks Jeff. I'll try re-cropping that image. With the exception of #1 (Dirt Bag action from TRA) the rest are my own processing. Just kind of messing around until it looks OK. Virtually no chance of repeating it. I should probably keep closer track of HOW I do some of them.
