Great collection, Dave, but the first is my pick of the best. Good shooting.
Thanks Harvey, the light and background were so great at the time that I couldn't help firing off at least a hundred shots.
Thanks Kenn, these are some of the very best birding spots in New Jersey and I was fortunate to get out for some good lighting.

Pretty shots Dave, the Palm is excellent... great shooting.

Thanks db, I've always found Palms to be cooperative, but that was an extremely friendly individual.

Very nice series Dave. The redwing shot is great.
Thanks Mitch, I'm pretty new to taking flock shots and the Red Wings can make great opportunities for practice.
Thanks Arty, I was hoping to do something a little different with the hawk silhouette.

The palm warbler is absolutely gorgeous.
Thanks Mao, the bird was very close to me, so I stepped the aperture down a bit to try to maximize feather detail.
Thanks Judy, this is a great time to take a ride to Forsythe or Cape May. Lots of friendly birders out and about.
Thanks Cyclops. Wish I woulda had my 7d before the trip though! (still waiting on my pre-order)
