Indeed.
Purdue Memorial Union. We shoot there a lot if we are not in the parking garage across the building :lol:

I'd been there before, but it was back in the early 80's. Couldn't remember which building it was.
Reminds me of a couple of places over at Ball State, too.

If you're ever down around Butler and have an opportunity to shoot, keep Jordan Hall in mind. Older, but with the same vibe.

oh it's probably a whole new campus to you then. I love purdue and i bleed black and gold.

I have a few friends that go/went to butler, but I don't get around there that often. I usually don't even get in the indy area that often unless i'm out at b-rip/downtown for some drinks or flying out of the airport. I haven't had anyone contact me for shoots in that area. Indy has some great areas for shooting.

One of my all-time favorites is Holliday Park, off 64th and Spring Mill Road. Just doing a Google maps search reveals that they've gone and f****d it up some, by tearing down all the old 50's-era buildings in front of the main feature, and putting up new buildings behind it, but you might still be able to get some good angles... in any case, sometime back in the mid-century or so, they took an old bank facade and parts of the rest of the building, and reconstructed it out there to resemble Roman ruins. There's fountains and reflecting pools, with this structure in the middle of it.
I used to do my infra-red shooting there for a completely otherworldly feel.

I loved that place when I was a kid, in Lebanon. My Grandma lived just down 64th street and would take me there sometimes in the summer. Always held a very mysterious charm for me.

Just did another check. Looks like someone contributed a photoset or something; you'll see an avatar for it on the left side of the Google screen. Lots of pictures of the structure.

Pham, what is the reason for DO pointing above her head? Fall off towards her feet or you just wanted to use softer light by feathering?
Wicked shot BTW
