Me, too. I like the way the shadows and the legs help illustrate the DOF. With a crop, this could be an illustration for a dance troupe's new season, for example....

The shadow isn't getting blurred because of DOF, if that what you were implying. The farther the shadow is from the object that cast it, the more fuzzy it becomes. :)

Take a look at the planks on the floor where the shadow is. They're not really blurred out are they? ;)

johnbergsing: that skin, those eyes, aren't human. Have you considered the possibility that Melissa is one of the advanced beings from outside the galaxy that walk the earth to observe our progress and push us in the right direction every now and then?

Sorry if I misunderstood your post. It would be helpful, then, if you could clarify what you meant instead of dismissing it with a "nevermind".

Cool shot Pham! Where is the the PLM located? Did you take it out in post or is there a second story balcony up above in the back?

Ok so I am embarrassed to even upload these, I should probably stop typing right now but I guess I will proceed. This was a crude set up in my garage two lights on the floor at camera right and left and one shop light (aluminum dome one) with a diffuser covering them all. Feel free to rip them apart but please make it a learning experience for me.
