She has bright brown eyes and look that way. Thanks for looking out on the small details though.:)

1/250 sec shutter with two Einsteins firing at about 1/4000 sec t1 each. Softbox main camera left, 64" PLM socked fill camera right. An AB400 was used for hair light camera right and I am still experimenting on if that will bring any obscure blur into the mix for jump shots, but I think I checked its t1 at 1/2000 sec for this shot. I think the hair light had a partially covering (like 60%) blue gel on it.

QUOTED IMAGE

This is a creative way to shoot shoes, I like it! The lighting is nice and soft, and the framing is good too, my only criticism would be the smudge on the heel of the left shoe and the tiny runaway thread on top of the same shoe. Very cool image, creatively done.

I've gradually been acquiring speedlights, modifiers and triggers so I could learn to do some portrait work. This is my first 'session' and is a shot of myself. Thanks to everyone here, viewing such inspiring work has helped me learn as I lurked.

I used a 580EX II in a Qbox, camera left as the main and a 430EX II in a home made snoot 180° opposite the main as a kicker. I purposely lit this so my left side was in deep shadow.

I know I have a long way to go to be in the same league as many of you here but I have to start somewhere. Comments are welcome
