I don't know about the creativity part but her is my first attempt using Wescott Orb and Wescott Strip. Orb was lit with 3x 600ex and Strip had 1 600ex in it. Used 85mm 1.2

Did you shoot this at f/1.2? If so,why? She has a banging body. I would have shot that at the very least f/4 if I wanted some blur. But,for this shot,f/8 would've been killer. Your lighting is quite nice though.

She does have a banging body....I could have liked the photo a bit more if the eye closest eye to the camera was in focus...

I can't post them all but the first one I did on purpose just focused on the eyes. However it was the first time with this 85mm (as well as softboxes) DAMN that thing is tricky. I was trying to get both eyes in focus.

At F2 with that lens? You either had the strobe 30ft away all the way down on the B port, or you had an ND filter in there. lol... that lens picks up light like it's going out of business.

:) Had a Hoya 3 stop ND in the 200L. The strobe was placed as in the photo above. The client sat on the right side of the brown wooden bench that is around the tree.

Hey, Sylvester, I really like the lighting on these, and it doesn't look like your typical side lighting that's often used for this type of shot. I'm doing a fitness shoot next week as part of another shoot, and this lighting would work well. It looks like you're using a strip light for side lighting on camera left and possibly a gridded beauty dish or softbox either boomed above the camera or slightly camera right (but high and pointed down). Am I in the ballpark?

Nice pictures. Was it your intention for them to look kinda dirty? Haha, as if they had not showered for a week and been in a dusty environment.. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but it looks almost like the shadows/highlights were pushed too far or something. It's more apparent in your first photo at the top of this page, which is not showing up in my quote for some reason.

Agreed, thing that bothers me in the RING picture is her hands. Something just ain't right with the editing to make them look that way.
