It's true...using the El Octa is sort of the "anti-shadow-machine" however I usually try and set it up at such an angle that I can still get some nice shadow on the face (i.e. her left side of face)

My name is Jeff, and I'm addicted to shadows in fashion and brights in architecture. "Hiiiiii Jeff."

Actually I think I saw that in a shopping mall kiosk.

It's a lens cleaning machine.

I have long thought that medical facilities could stand a major attitude uplift, with something so simple as this. One needs every option they can get to stay in positive spirits in a hospital.

The city of Kalamazoo recently contacted me about hosting a gallery showing of my photography work. They gave me a huge time frame, and a wonderful location, so I had to accept the offer. I wanted to do something different than the work I'm used to doing, and this is the concept I came up with. It is part of a gallery showing that the city of Kalamazoo will be putting on for me from January 10th 2011 til March 8th 2011.

This is the first of a ten part series in which I'm entitling 'Denim'. All images from this series will be available for sale and viewing in print on January 10th. If you're interested in purchasing any of the work from this series, please get ahold of me for prices and options.

This one is of the wonderful Rhonda.-
