If you dont know which way they are facing, place your strobes 180 degrees apart from each other (lights are facing the centre from opposite sides) and both strobes at same power. No matter which way they are facing you always get nice separation from bg, enough light on subject and some wicked shadows. Of course you get more control if they are posing for you but for action its good trick and you dont have to worry about the lights. Vesa
